Nice to meet you
Betty Chung is a sales leader and enthusiast, who has unintentionally found herself on launch teams - at early stage startups and incubation businesses within larger organizations. She loves building new things, really digging into what customers need, and making sure sellers on the front lines are equipped with what they need to win.
Most recently, Betty was one of the first revenue hires for PromoteIQ, a retail media sell side platform, and helped take the business from zero to 1, resulting in an acquisition by Microsoft in 2019. She’s helped launch some of the largest retail media networks in the US market, leading sales GTM, and building and training new sales teams. At Microsoft, she led the incubation of a new data monetization solution for commerce media, leading both buy and sell side sales.
Betty has also led the redesign of an international first class experience for American Airlines, the first client manager for a white label loyalty business at American Express, and one of the first sellers for ZocDoc for Business.
When she’s not working, Betty’s enjoying everything NYC has to offer - taking hip hop dance classes, having city adventures with her family (including 2 boys with endless energy and loud voices), caring for her fish tanks, and eating the best and most diverse food.
